Our not-for-profit Canteen, run by the P&C, is an integral part of school life at Neutral Bay Public School. We are lucky to have lunch and recess service five days a week. All meal orders (lunch or recess) are made online via Flexischools before 8.30am on the day of the meal order.

Our friendly part-time paid staff lead a team of 3-4 volunteers to produce up to 450 delicious, fresh, healthy lunches for our children every day. Our volunteers range from mums, dads and grandparents who come in once a week, to those who need to schedule a morning out of the office once a year to make their small but significant contribution.  Lots of helping hands make a community! Volunteers are absolutely critical, so we can keep the quality high and prices low. That is why we have a class roster and ask that a parent or friend of each family try and make one shift a year.

There is also no better way to find out what's going on at Neutral Bay Public School than around the sandwich counter. It is always fun, the coffee is great, and you even get a free lunch. No cooking experience is necessary, it is extremely well-run and efficient, and best of all, your child will love seeing you behind the counter at lunchtime.

No child will ever be left hungry, so if your child forgets their lunch at home (or the neighbour's dog eats it), we will feed them and ask that you pay us the next day.
