Playground supervision in the morning begins at 8:45am with school beginning at 9:10am. Due to the high number of students attending Neutral Bay Public School, the school operates on a split timetable.
Kindergarten to Year 2 times are:
- Morning Session: 9:10 - 10:50am
- Inside eating: 10:50 - 11:00am
- Lunch: 11:00 - 11:50 am
- Middle Session: 11:50 - 1:30pm
- Afternoon Tea: 1:30 - 1:50pm
- Afternoon Session: 1:50 - 3:15pm
Year 3 and 4 times are:
- Morning session: 9:10 - 9:55am
- Morning Break: 9:55 - 10:10am
- Session Two 10:10-11:40am
- Inside eating: 11:40-11:50am
- Lunch: 11:50-12:35pm
- Session Three: 12:35 - 2:05pm
- Afternoon Tea: 2:05 - 2:20pm

Year 4 to 6 times are:
