Playground supervision in the morning begins at 8:45am with school beginning at 9:10am. Due to the high number of students attending Neutral Bay Public School, the school operates on a split timetable.
Kindergarten to Year 2 times are:
- Morning session: 9:10 - 10:50am
- Eating time: 10:50 - 11:00am
- Lunch: 11:00 - 11:50 am
- Middle session: 11:50 - 1:30pm
- Afternoon Tea: 1:30 - 1:50pm
- Afternoon Session: 1:50 - 3:15pm
Year 3 and 4 times are:
- Morning session: 9:10 - 10:40am
- Morning Tea: 10:40 - 11:00am
- Middle session: 11:00-12:30pm
- Eating time: 12:30 - 12:40pm
- Lunch: 12:40 - 1:30pm
- Afternoon session: 1:30 - 3:15pm
Year 5 to 6 times are:
- Morning session 9:10 - 11:40am
- Eating time: 11:40 - 11:50am
- Lunch: 11:50 - 12:40pm
- Middle session: 12:40 - 1:50pm
